4. Content Standards
Every photo, bio, and message on LoveConnet is screened by our GPT-4o Vision AI moderation system. Content that violates our standards is automatically flagged and removed. Here's what's allowed and what isn't.
APhoto Guidelines
Photos are the first thing people see. They should represent you accurately and be appropriate for a platform where people of all backgrounds are looking for genuine connections.
- Clear face photos in good lighting
- Photos showing your hobbies (hiking, cooking, traveling)
- Beach or pool photos that are tasteful
- Photos with pets, at events, or during activities
- Nudity or sexually explicit images
- Underwear-only photos or overly suggestive poses
- Photos featuring illegal activities (drugs, weapons)
- Photos of children without you in them (to protect minors' privacy)
- Gore, violence, or graphic content of any kind
- Screenshots of private conversations
BMessaging Standards
Conversations should be engaging, respectful, and appropriate. While flirting is natural and encouraged, there's a clear line between playful and predatory.
- Thoughtful openers that reference something in their profile
- 'I noticed you love hiking — what's your favorite trail?'
- Complimenting someone's smile, style, or interests
- Sharing your own stories and asking questions to get to know them
- Unsolicited explicit messages or sexual requests as an opener
- Sending explicit photos without enthusiastic consent
- Copy-pasting the same generic message to hundreds of people (spam)
- Aggressive or vulgar language
- Pressuring for explicit content: 'Send me a pic or I'll unmatch you'
CBio & Profile Content
Your profile text should be welcoming, honest, and free of harmful content. It's your chance to make a great first impression — use it wisely.
- Describing your personality, hobbies, and what you're looking for
- Light humor that shows your personality
- Mentioning deal-breakers politely: 'Looking for someone who doesn't smoke'
- Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language
- Contact information to circumvent the platform (phone numbers, social handles in bio)
- Advertising businesses, products, or websites
- Political extremism or content promoting violence
- Anything designed to shock, offend, or provoke
